9 Steps to Becoming
a Licensed Real Estate Agent

1. Submit “Request for Evaluation of Education Documents” with college transcripts, if applicable, to Texas Real Estate Commission TREC ($20.00).

2. Take the required courses ($700-$1,050) www.kpstexas.com

3. Interview with a Broker for sponsorship www.C21Careerday.com

4. If you have already completed Step 1, fax Real Estate course certificates and cover letter to TREC's Education Department. Fax to (512) 465-3989. If you have not completed step 1, mail the “Request for Evaluation of Education Documents” form with a $20.00 fee and your Real Estate course certificates to TREC

5. Once notified by TREC that education has been approved, go online to apply for the state exam ($79.50)

6. TREC will mail you a PSI Pin #. You may now schedule your exam date.

7. Take a “Prep Course” if needed.

8. Take and pass the State Exam.

9. License is mailed to the sponsoring Broker.
